Andrew Feil here, from the first of two teams that are headed over to partner with Students International in Costa Rica. Our team has been on quite a wild ride, but I can confidently say that we are as ready as we will ever be! This trip was added in order to accommodate the overwhelming number of sign-ups for Exposure Trips. The original team leaders, John and Christin Layton, had to pull out because of some health-related concerns. Please continue to keep them in your prayers. So Denise and I were able to step in to lead.

Denise and I joined SI in Costa Rica four years ago, so we are excited to see the ministry, staff, and country again. We love the work that SI is doing in helping to share the love of Jesus in word and deed. We are also excited to visit The Well’s Extended Family members Rose Torres and Mackenzie Butler. After a lot of prayer, team building, fundraising and preparation, we traveled to LA on Sunday (yesterday) and arrive in Costa Rica on Monday (this morning). Pray for safe travel, health, team unity and servant hearts. Denise and I are taking our two-and-a-half year old son, Levi, so pray for us too! Pray for ease of travel for Levi and for the great connections that he can build across cultures.

We are hopeful that our team participants will experience God in new and transforming ways. We are hopeful that the process of discipleship in the lives of our members will continue to ramp up. We know God is going to do an amazing work in our team and through our team. Please pray to that end! We will be rotating bloggers so you will get to hear from other team members. Look forward to sharing with you more as the journey continues!
